Eric Clapton cut a frail figure as he was wheeled through Los Angeles International Airport this week. The 71-year-old Layla star was seen entering the terminal in a wheel chair while holding onto one of his teenage daughter’s hands.
Dressed in a grey hooded sweater, baseball cap and tracksuit bottoms, the music legend was barely recognisable. Outside the airport, his other two teenage daughters were also seen. His frail appearance comes days after he was forced to cancel two of his performances in LA due to severe bronchitis.A statement read: “Due to severe bronchitis and under doctor’s advisement, Eric Clapton is rescheduling this weekend’s two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles. The Saturday March 25 show will now be held Wednesday, September 13. The Sunday March 26 show will now be held Monday September 18.”
