The very first person to buy the brand-new iPhone 6 was horrified when the new smartphone slid out of its box and crashed onto the concrete floor below.
Crowds and reporters were gathered in Perth, Australia, for the launch of the new Apple phone. As an interviewer ramps the excitement up, calling it the “big reveal,” poor Jack Cooksey, the first person to get his hands on one, fumbled the box with the result that the phone hit the pavement.
Luckily for Jack, his new toy seemed unharmed by its out -of-the-box experience, saying: “it’s all good.” Jack later told the Perth Sunday Times: “I dropped it in a panic to get it open, luckily it’s covered in plastic, so it’s fine. I just can’t wait to open it again – and not drop it.”
Perth was among the first cities in the world to release the new iPhone 6, which went on sale at 11pm last night their time which is 8am local time.
