Two explosions have been heard inside a the London tower inferno as firefighters inside continue to battle the blaze. Flames have reportedly erupted from the smouldering building after a pair of blasts, according to journalists on the scene.
Firefighters are understood to remain inside battling the blaze which is still being treated as a live scene. Witnesses have reported a growing breeze is now fanning the flames as firefighters try to dampen down hot spots.
Brave fire crews have been working to bring the inferno under control and establish the number of victims. The death toll is currently 12 after the horrifying blaze – with police admitting it is expected to rise. It is not believed any firefighters have been injured in the two latest explosions. Reports have claimed the blasts may come from boilers inside flats on the upper floors.
