Tina Humphrey, who found fame on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with her dog Chandi, has died at the age of 45. The former music teacher and her beloved border collie came fourth in the final of the popular ITV show in 2012. Tina wowed the judges with Chandi, a rescue dog she adopted as a puppy in 1998, when they took their dog act to the auditions.
Tina’s husband, Steve, confirmed she died on 12 May after fighting cancer for the past year. He said: “I am devastated that she is gone, but I’m happy that she is no longer suffering and is at peace.
“I miss her so much and find it hard to believe that the shattered pieces of my heart will ever begin to heal, but I know they will because she lives on in me and always will. I love her so much. She was, and is, my person.”
