Tragic Debt Couple Jump To Their Deaths Leaving Note About Care For Children

A couple who jumped to their deaths due to ‘crippling debts’ in a horrific double suicide left a note asking for their children to be looked after. The bodies of Glenn Scarpelli, 53, and 50-year-old Patricia Colantwere, were found in the middle of the street after they plunged from a ninth floor window of an office building in Manhattan Friday morning.

In a heartbreaking discovery, both were carrying separate suicide notes which revealed the chiropractor and his wife to be parents. Glenn’s last words were found in his pocket in a note which was titled “we had a wonderful life”. In Patricia’s suicide note, she asked that their kids be taken care of. It read: “Our kids are upstairs, please take care of them.”

A police source reportedly said the couple were struggling with health care costs. Workers in the area who witnessed the aftermath of the tragic incident were horrified. The tragic incident has left their two children, Isabella and Joseph, orphans.
