Tragedy As Two Teens Killed After Plane Crash At Children’s Summer Camp

Two 14-year-old boys and a pilot have been killed after a plane crashed and disintegrated in the Swiss Alps. A 17-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following the tragic incident near the Diavolezza mountain in Switzerland.

The pilot and the teens were flying at a youth camp known as Aero Club when the small aircraft went down in rough terrain.  Youths who take part in the camp are taken on a flight and an excursion to the Samedan Airport, near St Moritz.  The head of the camp said “my world has collapsed” after the tragedy.

Investigators are probing the cause of the crash – which occurred at around 9.30am local time. The plane is believed to have been a Piper PA-28. Police described the pilot as experienced and from the local area, and added that the teens were all from Switzerland.
