Tom Cruise is expected to be out of action for MONTHS after breaking two bones during a stunt on the set of Mission: Impossible 6. Production on the new film could be halted for up to four months as the A-lister recovers from a severe ankle injury that he sustained in London.
The 55-year-old has jetted back to the US to receive treatment after his ankle smashed into the side of a building during a daring rooftop leap. “The injury is worse than was at first feared. Tom did serious damage and will need months to recover,” a source told the Sun.
Tom was previously seen filming dangerous scenes for the movie in Paris, where he rode a motorbike into a car before flying through the air. He was also photographed parachuting in Oxfordshire while filming at the beginning of this month.
