A police hunt has been launched for a mum after a newborn baby was found abandoned in a bus shelter. The tiny baby is now being treated in hospital after she was discovered in a bus stop outside a pub.
Police forensic teams had sealed off the area around the bus stop and a helicopter was seen flying over the area this morning. Officers say they are concerned about the health of the mother and are appealing for her to come forward.
The baby was found at 7.15 this morning near the Magpie and Stump public house in Towyn, Conwy, North Wales. The baby was taken to the Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital by paramedics and her condition is unknown.
