A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 14-year-old boy suddenly died. The boy reportedly collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest at an address in Tenbury Crescent in Aspley, Nottinghamshire.

He was rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre but doctors were unable to save him. Detectives from Nottinghamshire Police have arrested a 17-year-old male on suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Tenbury Crescent on April 20, 2017, or who has any information to assist the investigation.
