There is traffic chaos on the M25 after torrential rain caused part of the busy motorway to collapse.
The road surface on the anti-clockwise carriageway between J10 and J9 deteriorated so bady that debris was strewn all over the motorway and all three lanes were closed.
The hard shoulder was littered with cars forced to stop in the driving rain after getting punctures from the shredded road surface.
