US rapper Yung Mazi who bragged “God made me bulletproof” has been shot and killed outside a pizza shop. The hotly-tipped singer from Atlanta survived his last shooting just eight months ago when he told how he had been fired at ten times during his lifetime.

His death comes just eight months after his last lucky escape when he said: “God made me bulletproof”. Mazi, whose real name was Jibril A, died of multiple gunshot wounds outside Urban Pie in the Kirkwood neighbourhood of his hometown Atlanta on Sunday evening. He had two children and was believed to be 28 years old.

This evening tributes have been pouring in for the rapper as police launch a murder investigation. His record label BWA – or Bread Winners Association – posted a tribute video featuring Mazi and Gates on its Instagram on Monday.
