Police searching for a missing schoolboy boy believe he may be with a group of friends who are helping him stay hidden. Baby-faced Patrick Casey, 13, has not been seen for more than a week since he left his home last Saturday to meet a friend in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
But Patrick never turned up and officers have now issued a fresh appeal to find the missing teen – urging him to get in touch. Patrick, from Frinton-on-Sea, Essex, is described as being 5ft 2ins tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a grey top and bottoms and carrying a sports bag.
Chief Insp Russ Cole, Essex Police’s district commander for Tendring, said: “I am extremely grateful to every single person who has taken the time to share our appeal for information about Patrick’s whereabouts … I think he is possibly with a group of friends who are supporting him and enabling him to remain missing. I know these people are likely to be using social media and therefore I ask you to continue sharing the appeal so it reaches those who need to see it.”
