Police Probe As Teenage Girl Plunges To Her Death From Multi-Storey Car Park

Police launched an investigation after a 19-year-old teenager fell to her death from a multi-storey car park. Officers were called to Bull Lane, Gloucester, in the early hours of yesterday morning where the woman, who has not yet been named, was found dead.

Police closed the Longsmith Street car park for a full investigation and said her death was “being treated as unexplained but not suspicious”. A single posy of yellow flowers had been left against the car park wall in memoriam.

A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: “You may have seen we closed off an area around Longsmith Street car park in Gloucester early this morning. Sadly this was following the death of a 19-year-old Gloucester woman who fell from one of the upper floors of the car park in the early hours of today. Her death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and her next of kin and family have been informed. We will now be continuing enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
