Police fear a pair of siblings have been abducted as they reveal a missing 16-year-old’s younger brother has also vanished.Camelia Lupu, 16, was last seen leaving her home in Staylbridge, Manchester at around 4pm on September 7. Police have now revealed her younger brother Noevelle Lupu, 13, has also gone missing from home.
It is believed the pair are with 19-year-old Marius Savin, who is wanted for their abduction. Detectives are frantically searching for the youngsters – who they now believe may be in the south of England.
Noevelle was last seem on Kimberley Street in Oldham on Wednesday morning after leaving home the same day. Camelia is slim, 5ft tall, with olive skin and long black hair.
She speaks with a Romanian accent and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans, navy blue trainers with pink trim, a black t-shirt with white writing and very red lipstick. Noevelle is 5ft tall, with short dark hair. It is unknown what he was last wearing. Ports and airports have been alerted to the pair’s disappearance as a frantic search is underway,
Sgt Lindsey Curry from GMP’s Phoenix Team urged anyone who spotted the children to call her immediately. She said: “Concerns are rising for Camelia and Noevelle, as we believe they could be being taken out of the country. Marius Savin does not have their welfare at heart and we are extremely concerned for their safety.”
