Details about the wedding of the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge have been released.Pippa Middleton will tie the knot in her local village church followed by a reception at her parents’ home, it was reported last night. The 33-year-old is reportedly set to marry fiancé James Matthews at St Mark’s Church, in Englefield, Berkshire.
The wedding party will then be held at Carole and Michael Middleton’s £6million home in nearby Bucklebury, according to The Sun. The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister will wed in May next year after they became engaged in July.
Pippa, who had been dating the hedge fund manager for less than a year when he popped the question, said yes after he got down on one knee during a walk on the fells. The 40-year-old reportedly asked Pippa’s father for permission for his daughter’s hand in marriage before he proposed.
The pair confirmed the happy news in a statement which read: “Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year.” Pippa’s niece, Princess Charlotte, and nephew, Prince George, are expected to be a flower girl and page boy.
