Police were forced to break up a huge street brawl that involved twenty people whose ages ranged from 13 to 52.
Paramedics also attended the fight, treating a large number of people on the street in Luton town centre, but only for minor injuries. Bedfordshire Police have since confirmed that they arrested four men and a teenager, referring to the brawl as a “domestic incident.”
A passer-by who witnessed the fight said: “All hell broke loose. It was like something out of a Western. Everyone was punching and kicking each other, women kicking and screaming at one another. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
All the people who were arrested after the scrap, which started at 3pm on Monday afternoon on Castle Street in Luton, have been released on police bail until the 22nd or 23rd of October.
