A baby was pulled out of a changing room locker in floods of tears after his parents dumped him there to go swimming. The tot was wailing and clearly in distress as he was pulled out of the wooden cabinet by his mother – who seemed completely unfazed by what she had done as she scoops him into her arms.
A horrified pool attendant had to rush over to the locker with a key – clearly unable to hide her disbelief. Staff at the pool noticed the little boy, who looks to be about one-year-old, being placed and locked inside the dark compartment.
Other visitors heard the boy crying inside the claustrophobic tiny space which is supposed to be used to store bags and other valuables. They are said to have been stunned when they realised the boy was inside the locker and called the family to whom the compartment had been assigned. The horrific scene unfolded in the southern Guangdong province, and the baby did not show any symptoms of suffocation, although it was unclear how long he had been left inside the locker.
