One man is dead and another has been injured after a stabbing attack in the German city of Wuppertal-Elberfeld. Police say they are searching for as many as three men who ran away after the stabbing at a shop in the central business district.
“We can confirm there has been a deadly crime. One man has died and another man is in hospital,” a police spokeswoman told AFP.
A 31-year-old man was killed and a 25-year-old was injured in the incident, which took place in the city 20km east of Dusseldorf about 12.45pm today. The news follows two apparent terrorism events in Finland and Spain.
