Police have launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old was stabbed to death in Battersea in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services were called to Ingrave Street at 1.25am where the teenager was found suffering from stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead shortly before 3am. Although formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe they know the name of the victim and his next of kin have been informed.
Met Police detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and a post-mortem date will be set shortly. There has been no arrest at this early stage; enquiries continue.
