Singer Michael Bublé’s sister-in-law has said the entire family is “broken in half” by the earth-shattering diagnosis. Luisana’s elder sister, a renowned nutritionist, said that cancer-stricken son Noah is not suffering from leukaemia. Daniela Lopilato also revealed the three-year-old’s cancer didn’t affect his central nervous system.
The Canadian crooner and Argentinian actress Luisana revealed their son’s plight in a statement yesterday after speculation he was ill with mumps. They explained Noah is undergoing treatment in the US but did not give specific details about his cancer.
Journalist Tomas Dente read out a text message from Daniela on a morning TV show which said: “To tell you the truth I’m devastated. This is very recent. The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means. Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say anymore.”
Michael, 41, and his wife of five years – parents to Noah and nine-month Elias – said on the singer’s Facebook page: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”
