The M25 has been brought to a standstill by accidents on both the clockwise and anti-clockwise roads. Traffic is at a standstill between junctions 23 and 25 clockwise, 6 and 9 anti-clockwise and junctions 3 and 2 anti-clockwise.

Two lorries and a car are involved in the accident which occurred at around 3.30pm on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 24 and 25. Traffic is stationary back to junction 23 for the A1(M) as two lanes were closed following the collision.

Surrey Fire & Rescue has advised commuters to seek alternate routes due to another four-vehicle crash on M25 anticlockwise. Junctions 6 to 9 anticlockwise are reported to be gridlocked. There is also slow moving traffic between Junction 3 and 2 Anti-clockwise – with drivers reporting long delays.
