A little girl died after vanishing while her parents ate dinner and playing on a railway track before she was hit by an oncoming train. Lucia Vivar was found dead by a train driver the next morning, near to where her parents had been dining, despite a desperate search by over 600 people.
The three-year-old was desperately hunted for in the town of Pizarra in the Andalusia region of Spain – but her body was found near where she had last been seen. She was separated from dad Antonio Vivar and his wife Almudena Hidalgo on Wednesday evening, and was last seen at 11.20pm.
She had been playing with her cousins as her parents ate dinner, but is thought to have become disorientated while out at night. It was then she vanished and it is believed she walked down the train tracks before getting tired and lying down. It is thought she was then hit by an oncoming train – the first of the day – and died after horrific head injuries.
