Most people are full of love and good wishes when a baby is born. There are coos and looking at photos and enquiries about a name and a birthweight.
However, when Katie Hopkins is concerned, all bets are off. While Holly Willoughby’s fans were euphoric this morning at the news that she was safely delivered a baby boy, motormouth Hopkins saw fit to unleast an unpleasant and critical tweet.
Holly took to Twitter to announce the birth: “I’m sooo happy to tell you all – we’ve just had a baby boy! Chester William Baldwin made a grand entrance at 8lbs 12. He’s just perfect. X”
It wasn’t long before the former Apprentice candidate who is now a Sun columnist tweeted her scathing riposte:
“Holly & Dan clearly had sex 9 months ago in Chester. Funny things is, I am known for having sex in a field. Between us we have a classic sofa.”
We all know Katie’s views on “geographical place names” after she shared them on This Morning in front of a flabbergasted Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield. It’s almost as if Holly has chosen the name Chester to spite Ms Hopkins. We can but dream.
