Another day, another target.
As around 100 women gathered at Claridge’s to breastfeed their baby’s outside the Mayfair hotel in protest at the hotels decision to tell a nursing mother to cover up, Katie Hopkins has waded in to the frey.
Despite the fact that Katie has three children of her own and despte the Free to Feed action gathering pace, Ms Hopkins tweeted her support to Claridge’s.
“Free to feed protest tomorrow. Expect the mammary militia out in force. Stand firm @ ClaridgesHotel . Their sort shouldn’t be free to breed,” she fumed.
“Women have the right to breast feed. But they don’t have the right to put everyone else off having milk in their tea. Put it away girls.”
There was uproar on Twitter, as people were vehement in their disapproval of Ms Hopkins’s remarks. One Twitter user posted: “Its not the dark ages. One of the most natural things in life.”
Another wrote: “I have never seen a breast when a woman is BF move away if you are so uptight or avert your eyes or just grow up.”
A third tweet read: “Why should someone eating put anyone off their tea?”
