A BBC cameraman has been run over by a car carrying Jeremy Corbyn. The Labour leader was rushing to attend a Clause V meeting this morning. In an attempt to avoid the cameras and journalists gathered outside the meeting, Mr Corbyn’s car slipped round the back.
Unfortunately, in doing so, Mr Corbyn’s car ran over a cameraman’s foot; an ambulance was called and the victim treated at the scene and then taken to hospital. The cameraman confirmed to paramedics that his injury had been caused by the Labour leader’s car.
The cameraman’s injury is not thought to be serious and a Labour source told reporters that the Party is looking into the incident.
