A man was stabbed in a McDonalds restaurant.The victim was knifed in the fast food giant’s Erdington branch in the West Midlands, at around 8.15pm on Saturday. The 20-year-old was rushed to hospital but his injuries were not said to be life-threatening.
No-one has yet been arrested in connection with the attack but it was believed the two offenders were known to the victim.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8.15pm. We had an ambulance, paramedic officer and a trauma doctor on the scene. We treated a man in his 20s with a number of wounds and he was taken to hospital. Police were in attendance.”
The Midlands has been stunned by a spate of violent crime in the past week. There were four stabbings and a shooting in just 24 hours in and around Birmingham.
