Singer Adele has been forced to pull out of her final two Wembley Stadium shows, causing heartbreak to the 180,000 people expecting to see her perform. The Rolling in the Deep singer expressed her utter heartbreak at the decision after being forced to cancel the shows following advice from her doctor. The singer had previously hinted that she will not tour again.
The international megastar explained that over the course of her sold out Wembley shows she had struggled with her vocal chords, having to constantly clear her throat during her performances. She added: “To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement. I’m already maxed out on steroids and aids for my voice.”
The 29-year-old went on to pour out an impassioned apology to her fans, begging for their forgiveness Adele said: “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for your disappointment. I’m sorry for the nights you would have had with your loved ones and the memories you would have made together … I’m so sorry. I love you I’m so sorry, please forgive me.”
