A teenage girl who disappeared two days after a close friend was buried has been found dead, it was revealed today.
Ciara Witt, 16, was last seen at at 11am on Friday at Kinson Cemetery in Bournemouth, Dorset, where her friend Jack Gudge had been laid to rest. Jack, 16, was killed in July this year following a fight outside a Tesco Express store in Bournemouth and was buried last Wednesday.
Ciara’s mother Mel Witt called the police on Friday evening after her daughter failed to return home. Mrs Witt and Dorset police today revealed that Ciara was found dead at an address close to the cemetery last night. Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Mrs Witt posted on Facebook: “I feel I have to let people know my daughter Ciara Witt is sadly now with her grandad and her cheeky chav she’s not coming home you don’t need to look or search anymore thanks for all your help.”
