A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted during an attack on a group of teenagers in a park. The youngsters were attacked in Oldham, Manchester, shortly before 6.25pm on Wednesday. The teenage girl was sexually assaulted during the incident and is now being supported by specially trained officers.
Police say three boys aged 14, two aged 13 and a 13-year-old girl received minor injuries during the attack. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “Police were called at 6.25pm on Wednesday 3 May 2017 to reports that a group of teenagers had been assaulted on a park on Wellyhole Street, Oldham.
“Officers have launched an investigation and established three boys aged 14, two aged 13 and a 13-year-old girl received minor injuries. A 13-year-old girl was also sexually assaulted and is being supported by specially trained officers. There are extra patrols in the area and officers are working closely with the local authorities to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
