EastEnders start Jacqueline Jossa is expecting her first child with her TOWIE boyfriend Dan Osbourne.
The baby is due early next year and the new arrival will mean that Jacqueline, who plays Lauren Branning in the popular soap, will have to take some time out from her EastEnders role. However, the BBC producers are being “incredibly supportive” and will write a break into the storylines.
Dan Osbourne already has an eighth month-old son from a previous relationship. A source close to the couple told The Mirror: “They’re over the moon. They might be a young couple, but Dan loves being a dad, so it’s great news for them.”
23 year-old Dan said: “Becoming a father has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad again – I’m truly blessed.” He will have had some new experiences before the birth of his second child, as he as signed up to tour with the male stripper group Dreamboys in September.
21 year-old Jacqueline added: “We are thrilled by our news.”
