Dad Of Twins Killed With Mum In Horror Holiday Crash Speaks Of “Enormous Loss”

The dad of twin 12-year-olds who were killed in a horrific car crash alongside their mum has spoken of the family’s “enormous loss”. Chris Gaskin paid tribute to Amy and James in an emotional statement this afternoon.

Jane Baker-Lockett, 43, and her children, James and Amy Gaskin, died when their car collided with a lorry on the A361 in north Devon. The twins’ Chris said: “It is an absolute tragedy and they were two fantastic kids who were inseparable. Our loss is just enormous.

“It is hard to put into words what has happened. But I do know they have left behind a brother who adored them. It is not the right words but the only positive thing out of this is that they have left this world together.”
