50 year-old Lorraine Rowson was killed in a dreadful lorry collision with an HGV on Friday.
Mrs Rowson, a wife and mother, was pronounced dead at the scene in Dudley in the West Midlands. The accident happened at the junction of Burton Road and Eve Lane in the Lower Gornal area of Dudley shortly before 12 noon on Friday.
Officers from the West Midlands Police Force’s Collision Investigation Unit are investigating. A spokesman said: “A cyclist who died in a collision involving a lorry in Dudley on Friday has been named as Lorraine Rowson.
“The 50-year-old Dudley woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at the junction of Burton Road and Eve Lane, Lower Gornal shortly before midday. Specialist liaison officers are continuing to support Mrs Rowson’s family as they grieve the loss of a wife and mother.”
