The mother of Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd ‘s love child has opened up about her son’s battle with a rare and debilitating neurological disorder.Sammy Milewski’s five year-old son Greyson suffers from Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), which causes sudden and painful paralysis of a portion of the body at random. The little boy takes daily medication, and his mother is forced to use a syringe to medicate him during an attack, which can happen up to once a month.
Taking to Twitter, Sammy explained that she finds it tough seeing her little boy struggling. She wrote: “Hate seeing my lil dude poorly, just stopped him biting an pulling his arm saying mummy arm to go. Another arm mummy. #Hearbreaking.”
While Jack, 28, has apparently never met his son, the star does pay maintenance after he learned that he was Greyson’s dad following a DNA test. The five-year-old was conceived after a one-night stand with Sammy. The David Platt actor is already the father to two children, Nyla and Reuben, with his fiancée Lauren Shippey.
Back in 2014, Sammy opened up about her disappointment over Jack’s alleged refusal to meet his son. She told us: “His father has not been in his life. I don’t know why because we don’t speak but I imagine it’s that he’s not wanted to. I would like my son to have a father in his life but how can you feel sad for something he’s never had? I guess it’s sad in itself to say that.”
