Parents have voiced their outrage amid claims drunken crowds at Newmarket Nights’ Little Mix concert left their children “traumatised”. Families claimed youngsters were left bloodied and bruised after being “pushed around” by rowdy racecourse revellers with one dad alleging his daughter was struck by a flying bottle.
Concert-goers branded the evening a “nightmare from hell” with some threatening legal action. Tens of thousands of people attended the day event the Adnams July Course, which also saw families attend to see the pop group with young children. But despite many enjoying themselves, families said they were shocked by the drunken behaviour of some in the crowd.Mum Chloe Price who attended the concert posted a picture of her eight-year-old daughter with bruises and a lengthy comment slamming the event on Facebook, saying her children have been left traumatised. She said: “Never been so absolutely disgusted in my life … My children have been left absolutely traumatised and covered in bruises.”
