Several carriages have plunged into a ravine.  The number of casualties is not yet known, but the injured have been taken to hospital by both helicopter and ambulance.

A spokesman for Rhaetische Bahn, Simon Rageth issued a short statement: “Part of the train was derailed by a landslide,” however, he would not comment further at this time.  The landslide appears to have been caused by heavy overnight rain.
