A huge blast has been heard at a university in Turkey. The blast rang out at about 11.20pm local time on Friday in the city of Gaziantep.
Details of injuries are unclear but smoke could be seen billowing above apartment blocks. The city lies close to Turkey’s border with Syria, and fears of an ISIS-related terror attack there have been high.
It is thought the blast took place either close to or at a university. The city lies just 98km north of besieged Syrian city Aleppo, which is currently subject to aerial bombardment from Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
