Prime Minister David Cameron has been the subject of an attack in Leeds.
Security officers were forced to act quickly, bundling the PM into a waiting car and spiriting him away.
David Cameron was attending an HS3 launch event in Leeds. As he left Leeds Civic Hall, a man, possibly a protester, rushed up to the PM, giving him a hard shove.
West Yorkshire Police downplayed the event, saying a 28 year-old man was “briefly arrested” but was released shortly afterwards and that the event was nothing “sinister.”
