AT least 25 people have been injured – with fears Brits are among those hurt – after masked gunmen started shooting inside a resort in the capital of Philippines.
Explosions were also heard at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City at around midnight local time – as terrified guests reportedly jumped from the second floor of the hotel.
Footage posted on social media shows crowds of people running from the complex as gunshots were fired.
Another clip shows casualties rushed to hospital.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Fire, police and SWAT teams have been sent to the scene.
A spokesperson for the hotel and casino said on Twitter: “Resorts World Manila is currently on lockdown following reports of gunfire from unidentified men.”
“The company is working closely with the Philippine National Police to ensure that all guests and employees are safe.
“We ask for your prayers during these difficult times.”
