A man getting a haircut was “stabbed in the neck with scissors” after a “violent altercation” in a barbershop. Police have launched a manhunt for the attacker at King’s Clippers hairdressers in Chertsey, Surrey.
Witnesses described a row breaking out inside the barbershop which led to one man stabbing another in neck with scissors while he was sat in the barber’s chair. One witness said: “There were two men having a fight. One of them picked up a pair of scissors and stabbed the other guy in the neck with them while he was in the chair.”
Police said the two men are believed to be known to each other. No arrests have yet been made. A police spokesman said: ““Surrey Police received a report of a violent incident in Chertsey today (Monday November 7).
“It is reported two men were having a violent altercation in a barbershop in Guildford Street at around 1pm before continuing outside on the pavement. A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, including a puncture wound to his head. Officers believe both men are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.”
