Police have cordoned off a street, sealing a village, after discovering a suspicious device.The find was made by officers executing a search warrant on a premises over allegations of fraud.
A police spokesman said: “A cordon has been put in place as a precaution. The appropriate partners are assisting with enquiries and the public are thanked for their patience.”
As well as police, fire crews and ambulances services are said to have arrived at the scene. Local buses are affected with First Scotland East saying services are being diverted.
