Two bombs are believed to have been detonated at a shopping centre in Thailand. One of them went off inside a shopping mall, according to reports, while another happened in the car park.

At least 40 people are reported to have been injured in the blasts in Pattani, Thailand. Police said the second bomb, in the car park, was as a result of a car bomb. Pictures show the blackened scene of the supermarket with a huge plume of black smoke rising above the area.It appears to be the latest attack by Muslim separatists in the south of the predominantly Buddhist country. Pramote Prom-in, a spokesman for the Thai military in the area, said a suspected car bomb had exploded at the entrance of the Big-C supermarket in Pattani.
