Robert Anker, a member of the dance group Diversity, has died aged 27. The Essex-born star was involved in a car crash in Canada and died from his injuries, according to his family
Robert, who lived in Essex while growing up, had moved to Canada last year to live with his fiancée Cyndi. Heartbreakingly, the couple had only married last October and were building a life together when his life was cut tragically short.
Robert performed with Diversity when they won Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and had also worked alongside big name acts including Jessie J and Paloma Faith. The dancer’s successful career also saw him working on The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing, along with films including Bring It On.
