Little Bradley Lowery made a touching gesture to his grieving cousins just hours after he passed away from a rare type of cancer, his aunt says. The six-year-old football fan – whose smile and incredible bravery captured the hearts of millions – died in his parents’ arms yesterday afternoon.
After his death, his brave mum, Gemma, sat his young cousins down and told them their beloved relative had passed away but would always be with them. She told them that, whenever they see a white feather, they will “know Bradley was there,” according to their mum and the little boy’s aunt, Kelly Stonebank.
Later, when Kelly took her girls to the shop to get them “a little treat for being so strong”, she says a small white feather flew into one of their faces. The youngster, called Jorja, excitedly said: “Mammy, mammy, our Brad is here. Auntie Gemma was right, he still holds us near.”
