Frank Maloney “wasn’t born into the right body” and he is now becoming Kellie.
The boxing legend who shepherded Lennox Lewis to the World Heavyweight title has been speaking out about her previously-secret wish to be a woman.
61 year-old Kellie can no longer “keep living in the shadows” and has told the Sunday Mirror: “I wasn’t born into the right body, I have always known I was a woman. At this very moment I am preparing to live the rest of my life as a single person. I have no interest in physical sex with anybody. I have many more issues that I have to deal with and I don’t know what will happen down the road. I’ve lived with this all my life and I don’t understand it. Therefore I can’t expect anybody else to understand it.”
“What was wrong at birth is now being medically corrected. I have a female brain. I knew I was different from the minute I could compare myself to other children. I wasn’t in the right body. I was jealous of girls.”
Maloney retired from boxing promotion last October; he was famous for his clashes with promoter Don King and his Union Jack suits, but beneath that was a brain for boxing and his shrewd business acumen was admired by many, possibly even King, despite his describing Maloney as a “mental midget.”
