The body of a teenage boy has been discovered inside a burnt out garden 13-year-old, who has not been named, was found after the blaze was extinguished in the Doncaster shed.

Fire crews had rushed to the fire on Byron Avenue in Campsall on Thursday night. A spokesman said that two fire engines had rushed to the scene about 8.30pm, saying: “Firefighters worked quickly to put the fire out.

“Sadly once the fire was out it was discovered that a person was dead inside the shed. An investigation into the fire will take place today.”

Formal identification has not yet taken place. A joint investigation by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and South Yorkshire Police is now underway.
